Bulk Material Processor – 2nd Shift

SPECIFIC DUTIES:
- Ensure that materials in the Manufacturing area are maintained in accordance with GMPs and SOPs.
- Weigh, verify, and compound raw materials according to the Manufacturing Work Order instructions.
- Maintain/clean all equipment in the manufacturing department.
- Clean and sanitize manufacturing equipment according to the relevant SOPs.
- Reconcile batch records to ensure bulk product weights meet customer specifications.
- Maintain the manufacturing rooms to ensure GMP and SOP compliance.
- Manufacture bulk product under stringent GMP and SOP conditions.
- Checks meters, scales, load cells, temperature indicators, mix indicators and other manufacturing equipment for proper calibration/accuracy.
- Accurately interfaces with Data-3 computer system to maintain inventory records and raw material/finished product lot records.
- Responsible for making sure his/her GMP/SOP training records are current.
- Responsible for correctly filling out daily control sheets which detail work performed in bulk processing and weighing areas.
- Responsible for filling out and signing timecards accurately and on time.
- Responsible for working in compliance with established safe work practices and procedures; properly uses personal protection and safety equipment as required by CPL; reports any injury or illness immediately and notifies CPL of any hazards, unsafe acts or conditions in the work place.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or GED required
- 5 years previous work experience compounding bulk materials in a regulated manufacturing environment required
- Must have basic math skills and the ability to use a calculator.
- Demonstrated troubleshooting ability
- Basic computer skills
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS/ENVIRONMENT
- May be required to manually handle heavy cases and drums of materials on and off skids without mechanical assistance.
- Push and pull automatic hand truck.
- Pulling, pushing, and pumping with manual pump truck, heavy skids.
- Confined space entry may be required.
